CSS and CARP Design

 Overview:

This project wanted to show how you can use CARP to make any kind of article or poem and make it more interesting or more appealing to look at. The teachers wanted to see if we could follow directions and steps on videos and apply that to dreamweaver. They also wanted to see how much we could do on our own before we had to ask them for help. The only real differences that are pretty noticeable was the color, fonts, and letter size.

Contrast:

To make the contrast more noticeable with this poem we had to change the color of the background to go together with the color of the words so that it all tied in together. Another way we used contrast was with the dog because we wanted to show how the dog could really pop without it being too noticeable.

Alignment:

For the alignment the teachers want us to show how we could align the title in the center to make it more noticeable and apparent. Another way we used alignment was in the poem because before there was a random sentence on the outside so we fixed that and put it back with the entire poem.

Repetition:

A way we used repetition was in the color of the words because we used the title, the author and the CSS link to the original poem in the same tan color which really tied it the poem. Another way we used repetition was is the font we used, the font we used multiple times was Georgia and the makes the words all match really nicely.

Proximity:

Lastly we used proximity to show how we could group certain things together like the poem for example. That was the whole poem is in the same place and can be read really easily.

Conclusion:

I conclusion what I learned in CSS was you have to be patient and don't get frustrated also always ask a teacher if you don't get something. But always try and push yourself so that you learn something new and then you'll be able to use those things you learned for future projects.
