Sketchup House Animation

The scope of this project was to recreate a house that we found on sketchup. The process of this project was a little bit difficult because I have never used sketchup before so it was brand new for me. I kind of got the hang of the way sketchup worked after a couple days working with it. I also had a little difficulty finding the perfect house because it has to be just the right amount of difficulty for whoever is making it. I learned you may need to restart a couple of times because I had to do that.  I also learned you can just asked your friends or teacher if yours looks right.  Something I would do differently is probably change the texture on the wood part because I didn't really like it. Something I would do the same is picking a beach house because I love beach houses and they aren't that difficult to recreate. I think next time I will remember to the component step. I thought this project was pretty fun because I loved the part where I got to put the textures on the house because that made the house look very realistic.

 I used this texture for the concrete pillars that are on the bottom of the house.

 I used this texture for the roof and I made the color of it a little bit darker.

My Personality Type

 My personality the was a ESFJ and that we are described as an Extravert,sensing,feeling, and judging person. So that means that I am a person that mostly puts other people before myself which is actually pretty true. It also means that I really like to work with people on projects and I may take me awhile because I am a procrastinator. But I will always get my work done on time. My environment has to work smoothly o I don't work very easily and it takes me longer.

 I actually think my description really fits me for example I love to help people out with their problems to make them feel better. There was actually nothing that didn't explain my personality right on the mark.My description says I love to work and team and that explains why I love being on two dance teams. Normally when I work with a team I tend to be the leader but my description doesn't really say that and I'm not sure why. I think this shows that it take me a little but to warm up to new friends which makes me come off a little weird but My personality really shows through when I get to know someone after a while. I have learned that I need to stop procrastinating.

My score totaled up to 32 in the beaver column. I am a beaver which means that I like Instruction and I like when I know what is going to happen and predictability. I am a very organized person and I think there is a right way to do everything. I want to solve everything that is causing a problem. My strengths are that I have really high standards and respect. But my weaknesses are that i'm kind of unrealistic sometimes and I have to be perfect which isn't really possible.

Walking ball animation

Project:

The scope of this project was be creative and make the ball come on the screen and then have it somehow exit the screen in an interesting way. We were supposed to make it something you want to keep watching and I think I did a god job of that.

Process:

I knew from the start I wanted to make mine funny and entertaining because that is what makes me want to keep watching something. Mine friend actually gave me the really good idea of making the ball sprout legs and walk off which I thought was really funny. I learned that you have to focus on the timing of the walking off part because that was kind of tricky getting it right. Something I would do differently is make the legs a little more realistic. Something I would keep the same would be to keep the idea because I think it's really funny.

Arc Bouncing Ball

Project:

The scope of this project was to make a ball bounce in an arc and then have the ball roll of the screen. We were supposed to make the timing realistic how a regular ball would actually bounce like that and I think I did a pretty god job.

Process: 

The actual creation of this was actually pretty challenging for me because I sort of messed at the beginning and it got kind of hard to fix it. Once I did get the problem fixed it was ok and I kept going with no problem.

What I learned:

I learned to not get frustrated because that just makes it worse. When I got mad it didn't fix anything you have to stay calm when doing this and ask question if you don't get something. I also learned that when you want the ball to go slower you have to put the copies of the ball closer together and more of them but when you want it to faster you have put fewer balls and farther apart. Something I would do differently would be to make the copies of the ball in the beginning rather apart to make the effect that the ball was falling faster. Something I would do the same is the ball 3D effect because the gradient makes the ball really pop. Next I will definitely work on realistic timing.

Bouncing Ball

The Project:

The purpose of this project is for us to learn how to use photoshop and learn all the tips and tricks. We were supposed to make a ball bounce that looked realistic. We had to make the ball appear as if it scrunched up when it hit the ground and then bounced back up without making the ball look fake.

My Process:

My process was I wanted the ball to have really good timing and then when I made the ball bounce it was actually pretty easy to do. It took me a little bit to get used the the software because I had never used it before. Then when the project was finished I wanted to make it perfect so I just tried to fix everything I could. 

What I learned:

I learned you have to be patient and don't get hot headed when you don't get something. You need to take your time so that your project will turn out the way you want it to. Something I would do differently would be I would probably add like some clouds or something in so that it could be a little bit more interesting because it's a little bit boring. What I would do the next time is the timing I really liked how the timing really came together.

Q2 Web Page Project

Overview: 

The project was a little difficult for me because I did not save the project right and most of my work I had done got deleted so I had to restart but it all worked to in the end. It was kind of fun to customize because I love adding color to things because it just makes them so much more appealing. I thought it was kind of hard sometimes because I had never used this software before but it was a good learning experience.

What I learned:

I learned you really have to be patient when you working with something you have never used before because things can go wrong but it will all work out in the end. I also learned there are many specific steps you have to follow to make sure the web page gets saved and edited right.

How I did:

I think I did pretty good because the page does look appealing and it's easy to read. I think the content is pretty interesting to read and it has really appealing colors that don't look bad together.

I think I could have used better fonts but overall I think I did pretty good.

Conclusion:

I want to know how professional web page creators make their websites because I think I could really learn from that and get some new tips and tricks
